We are required to carry out an audit every April to check if organisations still want to be part of the Digital Fife family and carry on with their free domain and website. We also need to know if it is still the same member of the organisation who will remain the main contact.

We understand that your organisations website may not have had any activity during the pandemic.

To get this pop-up turned off permanently please confirm your websites’ status by emailing

We believe in Buckhaven & Methil

Clear and the community bring news from around the communities in Buckhaven and Methil, showing whats on in Buckhaven and Methil

Clear is commited to combatting the worsening food insecurity in the area. In 2018 we opened a community fridge which is open 2 days a week. people in need can register and have once weekly access to up to 5 items from the fridge plus whatever bakery items, fresh fruit and vegetables and other items that are available.

Goods are supplied weekly from Fareshare and surplus food from supermarkets plus fruit and vegetables from our own gardens. Hot meals are provided for up to 20 volunteers daily.

There is no charge for using the fridge but cash and or food donations are very welcome. Clear receives no funding for this service and has covered the costs through donations and staff payments for meals.

We have recently installed a second fridge to ensure an equal choice is available on both days.

We are open every Wednesday afternoon from 2.00pm - 4.00pm and every thursday afternoon from 10.30am - 12.30pm

Weekly Update @ 5th January: Volunteer activities resume this week and every subsequent Wednesdays and Thursdays. For anyone seeking simple lifestyle improvements in the New Year, why not take the opportunity to come along and get involved - it offers exercise, fresh air, social interaction, free meal and refreshments and a chance to improve your locality. There are indoor and outdoor activities involved. Drop into 36 College St Buckhaven from 9.45 (for morning sessions) or 1.15 (for afternoon sessions).

The River Leven Connectivity programme, in which CLEAR is closely involved, is seeking input from local people about the issues and suggestions for improving the path connections and other improvements (such as orchards, sculpture and heritage trails). Complete the simple survey online at; https://consultation.sepa.org.uk/…/connectivi…/consult_view/.
